GLYN PARDOE SCORES FOR CITY
The Maine Road crowd cheered the new FA Cup winners as City players paraded the trophy round the pitch prior to the the game against The Hammers.
That was probably the highlight of the night, as the game was played at a slow pace, a typical end of season affair.
The first goal came after the break and it was the visitors who went 1-0 up, when Peters connected with a Hurst cross and volleyed past Harry Dowd.
With the City forwards failing in front of goal it was left to Glyn Pardoe to equalise with less than 20 minutes to go with a low drive which went in off the post.
