Manchester City dropped leading scorer Derek Parlane to substitute today, but still failed to find that winning goal touch against Middlesbrough.
City, hoping to boost their Second Division promotion hopes with an Ayresome Park victory, all to often found themselves under pressure from battling Boro.
And to make matters worse, they had three players booked, Andy May, Neil McNab and Geoff Lomax.
