City were to rue the form of Leicester custodian Mark Wallington in this 3-3 thriller, as although he did let in three goals he made several superb saves.
City’s first goal was a deflected Kevin Reeves shot that wrong footed Wallington and The Blues were 1-0 up after 27 minutes, and that’s how it stayed to half-time.
After the break Reeves struck a great volley past Wallington in the 62nd minute and City were cruising at 2-0.
The Foxes did not give up the fight and within 8 minutes they had pulled a goal back courtesy of a goal from Tommy Williams, amazingly Leicester went on to score two more goals, a header from Alan Young to make it 2-2 and then a Jim Melrose goal to take the lead.
Tony Henry came to the rescue for City however as he easily tapped in a Paul Power cross to give The Blues a share of the points.
