Another non-descript performance by Manchester City gave them their fourth 1-1 draw in the last seven games, the match was certainly nothing to write home about.
David Lacey in the Guardian described the goals; “… Leicester went ahead after five minutes when Corrigan sliced a clearance to Towers, who, caught unawares facing his own goal, attempted a back pass which merely gave Worthington a clear run to score.
when Bell soared superbly to head the equaliser in injury time, from Doyle’s cross, the fairest result had been achieved.”
