This was the first City match that my mate Dave and I ever attended, and were immediately hooked. We totally enjoyed the warmth and depricatiing humour or all the supporters around us.To be honest, the first match we attended was man United v Leicester at the Lard Works when Dave’s dad took us, but there was no enjoyment for us whatsoever, even though the reds won 3-1. Next stop.Maine Road and there’s never been a full moment since.
