Manchester City pounded Sunderland at Roker Park, taking a three goal lead by the interval, before finishing 4-0 winners.
Oakes and Bell put City 2-0 up within eight minutes and from then on it was just a question of how many.
Bowyer headed a third in the 37th minute and scored his second and the side’s fourth after 53 minutes.

First ever ,blues game, WOW, what a night, in Roker End seeing the lads in the real we come flying out the traps ,was right at front, 10 years old and firmly hooked, for life, Always lived in County Durham so nearly, all Games are a hike ,drove to 53 in 15/16 and and still loving it,and hopefully many many more to come .
