Manchester City face a hectic battle for First Division survival after crashing 2-1 against Nottingham Forest at Maine Road this afternoon.
City were left to scramble for points in the end of the season dog fight that leaves them with games against fellow strugglers Brighton and Luton.
The Blues went on the slide after only ten minutes when Forest’s top scorer, Ian Wallace, shot his side ahead.
City went close through Asa Hartford and Bobby McDonald, but there was little fire power in front of goal.
The Blues were in deeper trouble after 62 minutes, when Peter Davenport put the visitors two up.
And with time running out for City, it was left to Graham Baker to pull a goal back after 72 minutes.
