Manchester City had Kevin Bond and Asa Hartford sent off in a nightmare 4-1 defeat at West Ham.
Both City players got their marching orders for fouls in the second half of a game that saw the Blues completely outplayed.
Stand-in ‘keeper Alex Williams saved an early penalty from Ray Stewart, but then things really went wrong.
Sandy Clark scored in the 31st and 35th minutes before Paul Goddard made it three after 48 minutes.
Phil Boyer pulled one back for the Blues but Francois van der Elst snatched the fourth for the Hammers after 71 minutes.
It was the first time in living memory that City have had two players sent off in one game.
And only ‘keeper Williams could hold his head up high after a string of fine saves.
