Manchester City the League Cup finalists, had their dreams of a double Wembley appearance destroyed in a sensational game at the Victoria Ground last night.
Both sides were down to ten men when Jimmy Greenhoff snatched victory for Stoke with a goal ten minutes from time in the 4th round FA Cup tie.
Ref Pat Partridge had sent off Stoke full back Mike Pejic after a flare up with Dennis Tueart and Manchester full back Willie Donachie for one too many fouls on Jimmy Robertson…
