…An excellent game which Wednesday would probably feel aggrieved at not winning, but who in the end had to settle for a solitary point after a 1-1 draw.
lt was Wednesday who took the lead through Gordon Watson after 26 minutes when he vollied home from close range after a Mark Bright flick-on, but City drew level two minutes into the second half when Uwe Rosler headed home a Beagrie centre from a free kick on the left
The point made sure City would be playing Premiership football this season, while Wednesday completed the season with a nine game unbeaten run.
