This was a league match that just a few years earlier many City fans thought would never be played, but it was a sign of how far the Citizens had sunk. It was then a great sense of belief for the players and fans that Shaun Goater grabbed the winner with just three minutes to go.
The Goat’s goal was set up by substitute Jim Whitley and the Bermudan made no mistake after having missed several chances earlier in the game.
