Manchester City drew 1-1 with Wimbledon in a rough-house at Maine Road.
Defender Colin Hendry kept up his remarkable scoring run since joining the Blues from Blackburn by scoring after 74 minutes.
But the Londoners snapped back for Alan Cork, who came on as a 76th minute sub, to level the scores two minutes later.
Wimbledon had Terry Phelan sent off and Roger Joseph carried off as the game threatened to get out of hand.
